This incredible bird has wandered into South Texas from Mexcio and my birding buddy/sister and I drove to McAllen to try to see him. My sister, Sara Lacy, literally walked right to the spot where he was eating. Everyone in the Valley was on the lookout for this treasure and we saw him within 5 minute of arriving at the gorgeous Quinta Matzalan Birding reserve.
